How to apply to be an accompanier
EAPPI-US welcomes inquiries from the United States. Please direct requests for application forms, and any questions, to eappi-us@cwsglobal.org, or fill out the contact form, here. Residents of other countries can learn more about the program at the WCC EAPPI website.
Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis by members of the EAPPI-US Steering Committee. Applicants are encouraged to apply six months, or more, prior to anticipated dates of service. A minimum of three months lead time is normally required, although exceptions can be made.
EAPPI-US has funding to reduce the costs of participating in the program. These scholarships are intended to strengthen the advocacy of EAPPI-US and will be awarded to candidates with strong advocacy skills and experience, and the ability to commit to post-term advocacy engagement. Although scholarships are available, EAs from the United States are still encouraged to fundraise to cover part of the cost of their participation in the three-month term, including roundtrip travel to Jerusalem, and orientation/debriefing in Washington, DC.
Applicants should be at least 25 years of age and in good health. They are encouraged to discuss their interest in EAPPI with their family, friends and church or religious community.
Please direct requests for application forms, and any questions, to eappi-us@cwsglobal.org.
